Connection, Collaboration, Creation – Cotecna at the Second China International Supply Chain Expo
Cotecna China participated in the Second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing from November 26th to 30th, 2024, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). At the booths of the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) and the U.S. Grains Council (USGC), Cotecna showcased its one-stop agriculture solutions, highlighting the core value of global TIC organisations in promoting green supply chains in agriculture.
On November 27th, the Green, Efficient, and Sustainable U.S. Soybean Supply Chain Promotion Conference hosted by the USSEC was held at the CISCE. Cotecna, as member of USSEC and a valued player in supply chains, was invited to attend this conference, represented by Wenjiang LI, Vice President for North Asia, and Stone SHI, Manager for China Agriculture. Stone made a presentation featuring the fundamental role of quality control in a sustainable soybean supply chain, focusing on heat damage, impurities, protein content and other quality related topics that clients are most interested in regarding soybean imports during 2024. Differences in testing standards among different countries were particularly elaborated on, underscoring the essential role of third-party TIC companies in the soybean supply chain via building a solid bridge for trade.
During the presentation, Cotecna introduced its inspection services at loading ports in Brazil, the U.S., Canada, Argentina and other countries, highlighting detailed data and real case studies demonstrating how we helped our clients to ensure the quality of agricultural products throughout the supply chain. This global reach is a testament to Cotecna’s commitment to quality and sustainability in international trade. Cotecna’s presentation was very well received by the audience.
As the world’s first national-level exhibition themed on supply chains, the China International Supply Chain Expo provides meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration, and creation of values for global supply chains across different industries. Cotecna’s participation and active engagement in this event demonstrates its commitment to driving green agricultural chains, in response to the growing demand for high-quality agricultural products around the world. Cotecna will further leverage its expertise and strengthen partnerships with international organisations and industry associations, to jointly empower green supply chains in agriculture.
