Cotecna Speaks at Chromium & Nickel Conference, Awarded for Excellence in Services
The 27th International Chromium, Nickel, Stainless Steel and New Energy Industry Conference was recently held in Xiamen, China. Focusing on chromium-nickel industry chain, the conference explored new opportunities and growth paths for development of this industry, with discussions covering macroeconomics, the status and trends of the industrial landscape, and market opportunities and challenges, etc.
Cotecna China was invited to attend the conference and received the “2024 Nickel Industry Service Excellence Award”, in recognition of its performance in and contribution to the nickel industry.
At the conference, Wilson HU, Cotecna China NPI (Nickel Pig Iron) Project Manager made a speech. He highlighted the values of TIC companies in supporting supply chains in terms of mitigating trade risks, enhancing transaction efficiency, etc. through technical expertise that builds trust in global trade. The speech garnered positive feedback from the audience.
With 15 years of experience in the nickel ore sector in China, Cotecna holds more than 50% of the market share in nickel ore import inspection. The company has established mature and stable inspection teams and testing laboratory network in key ore-producing countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Solomon Islands. Notably, it commands an 80% market share in nickel ore inspection in the Philippines, and covers all regions of the Philippines and China as a third-party independent inspection company. In the meantime, Cotecna maintains close and long-term partnerships with major nickel-iron and stainless-steel factories in China, as well as global traders.
