Cotecna Debuts at CIIF 2026 with Green Manufacturing Special Committee
The 26th China International Industry Fair (“CIIF 2026”) commenced at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on 12 October 2026. As China's longest-running national-level industrial event, held in Shanghai since 1999 and often called "China's Hannover Messe", CIIF is a flagship platform where the world's industrial leaders meet, combining exhibition, trade, awards, and forums across the full spectrum of smart and sustainable manufacturing. This year, the event brings together more than 3,200 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions around the world, with an exhibition area of 310,000 square meters.
Cotecna is making its debut at CIIF, exhibiting jointly with the Special Committee on Green Manufacturing and Energy-Carbon Digital Integration under the Shanghai Energy Conservation & Environmental Service Association, as a Vice Chair of the Committee.

Cotecna, together with ESTS and BCK, both part of the Cotecna Group, is working with the Green Manufacturing Special Committee and its members to support green manufacturing, zero-carbon transition, green global expansion, green factory development, green supply chain management, energy-carbon digitalization, product carbon footprint, and international green compliance. In particular, Cotecna supports certification, auditing, compliance assessment, standards alignment, and policy interpretation for leading sustainability standards, including the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and other key frameworks, helping manufacturers build stronger international compliance and supply chain capabilities.
Facilitating Green Manufacturing Signing Ceremonies
Scaling Green Collaboration in the Yangtze River Delta and Beyond
LI Wenjiang, Vice President for North Asia Cotecna Group, facilitated two signing ceremonies themed green manufacturing at the CIIF’s Green Low-Carbon Show (GLCS) on 12 October.
Driven by the Shanghai Energy Conservation Center, the Shanghai Energy Conservation & Environmental Service Association, the Shanghai Headquarters Enterprise Development Promotion Association, and the Anhui Province Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Promotion Association held a signing ceremony to advance green manufacturing and energy-carbon digital integration across the Yangtze River Delta.
Signing 1: Green Manufacturing for Headquarters Enterprises
Shanghai has a high concentration of corporate headquarters, many of which manage production bases across regions. The first agreement addresses cross-regional coordination challenges faced by Shanghai-based headquarters managing dispersed production sites. The two Shanghai associations will combine policy support, technical diagnostics, and joint research to develop tailored service models, strengthening the green competitiveness of headquarters-led manufacturers.
Signing 2: Shanghai–Anhui Green Manufacturing Collaboration
The second agreement leverages the Special Committee on Green Manufacturing and Energy-Carbon Digital Integration to drive cooperation in green factories, intelligent agents, deep energy saving, zero-carbon parks, and international compliance. Anhui, as a prominent manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta, serves as the first provincial-level demonstration, bridging Shanghai's professional services with Anhui's manufacturing needs.

During the event, the Shanghai Energy Conservation Center and under the Shanghai Energy Conservation & Environmental Service Association jointly released two standards: the Specification for Enterprise Energy and Carbon Data Quality Management and the General Principles for Enterprise Carbon Emission Rights Confirmation and Accounting. These standards aim to lay the foundation for credible, usable, and mutually recognized energy and carbon data.
The Shanghai Energy Conservation Center further promoted Shanghai’s newly launched “AI + Energy-Carbon Digital Intelligence Space” and “Green Manufacturing Intelligent Agent”. The AI + Energy-Carbon Digital Intelligence Space serves as a core digital and intelligent platform for promoting energy-carbon integration and empowering government-enterprise governance and industrial transformation. The Green Manufacturing Intelligent Agent demonstrates how AI can be applied in green factory incubation, intelligent diagnostics, and energy-carbon data management.
Cotecna will continue to build on the Green Manufacturing Special Committee platform and remain active as a Vice Chair, to deepen ties with industry associations, manufacturers, and technical service providers. The goal is to scale the adoption of green manufacturing and energy‑carbon digital integration solutions across broader more industrial settings, driving the sector's transition toward low-carbon, high-quality growth.
CIIF 2026 runs through October 16. Cotecna welcomes industry partners, manufacturing representatives, and technical institutions to stop by its booth at E1-019, Green Low-Carbon Show (GLCS), Hall 6.2H. Come and explore partnership opportunities in green manufacturing, energy-carbon digitalization, and international green compliance.
