I. Zimbabwe General Goods CBCA Certifications
Cotecna is authorized by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Industry and Commerce to issue a Certificate of Conformity for exports of regulated products to Zimbabwe.
About the Programme
Cotecna is mandated by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Industry and Commerce to execute the Zimbabwe Consignment Based Conformity Assessment programme (CBCA) for General Goods.
The main objective of this programme is to better protect consumers and importers from substandard, counterfeit and potentially dangerous goods.

Regulated Products under Zimbabwe CBCA programme
Under the Zimbabwe CBCA, Cotecna is authorized to inspect and certify a wide range of regulated products.

II. Zimbabwe Motor Vehicles CBCA Certifications
Cotecna is authorized by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Industry and Commerce to issue a Certificate of Conformity/Conformity Based Conformity assessment (CBCA) Certificates for exports of regulated products to Zimbabwe.
About the Programme
Zimbabwe Cotecna is mandated by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to execute the Zimbabwe Consignment Based Conformity Assessment programme for new and used Motor Vehicles and spare parts being imported into Zimbabwe.
Cotecna conducts vehicle inspections in exporting countries, landing ports and at all the major borders before entering Zimbabwe.
The main objective of this programme is to better protect consumers from substandard, counterfeit and potentially dangerous goods.
Zimbabwe Conformity Assessment Process
To assess the conformity of Used Vehicles, the verification of conformity assessment will be done through a physical inspection of the vehicle. To start the process, kindly contact us.
Regulated Products
Disclaimer: All vehicles and spare parts imported into Zimbabwe require a CBCA certificate. Vehicles older than 10 years cannot be imported, except for returning residents, who may import such vehicles with a CBCA certificate.
Note: Vehicles with altered odometers are not permitted for import. In case of doubt, please contact us to determine if your products are subject to regulation.
