Cotecna Night – 50-Year Celebration and Reception
On October 15th 2024, Cotecna Night – 50-Year Celebration and Reception was held in Shanghai, attended by representatives from the government, international industry organisations, and clients.
Mr. Romain PETIT, Chief Operating Officer of Cotecna Group, made a speech to appreciate all parties for support and trust over the years. He highlighted that as we celebrate the milestone of 50 years, we continue to expand our footprint globally, particularly in China. Mr. Wenjiang LI, Vice President for Cotecna North Asia, shared our aspirations for the future, looking forward to working with all partners to embrace greater success and more growth.

The past 50 years has seen the yielding of delightful fruits. Founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1974, Cotecna has grown from a team of 10 employees to a global presence. Now Cotecna has over 180 offices and accredited laboratories in more than 50 countries, with trusted global network of over 7,000 professionals supporting supply chains across key industries: Agriculture, Food & Pharma, Metals & Minerals, Consumer Products, Certifications & ESG Solutions, etc. Cotecna has always been prioritising building robust partnerships, delivering values to our clients, and contributing to a better world with our expertise.
In 2004, Cotecna entered the China market. Over the past two decades, Cotecna has been firmly committed to and deeply engaged in the China market. By strengthening our established businesses and existing operations along with pursuing strategic acquisitions, Cotecna China now has grown to be one of the most important platform countries in the Cotecna global network, with offices and certified laboratories in Beijing, Tangshan, Rizhao, Qingdao, Huangdao, Weifang, Jiangyin, Haining, Hangzhou, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.
